This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the DevCatalog platform and services operated by Sacred LLC, doing business as DevCatalog ("we," "us," or "our"). This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service.
By using our Services, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of your account.
1. General Principles
1.1 Community Standards
DevCatalog is a digital marketplace for gaming-related products and services. We are committed to maintaining a safe, professional, and trustworthy environment for all users. You agree to:
- Act honestly and in good faith in all transactions
- Treat other users with respect and professionalism
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Use the Services only for their intended purposes
- Report violations of this policy when you observe them
1.2 Your Responsibilities
As a user of DevCatalog, you are responsible for:
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Ensuring your content and conduct comply with this AUP
- Verifying you have the rights to any content you upload or sell
- Understanding and following the rules of any games or platforms your services relate to
2. Prohibited Content
You may not create, upload, share, sell, or transmit content that:
2.1 Illegal Content
- Violates any applicable local, state, national, or international law
- Facilitates or promotes illegal activities
- Contains or distributes child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Violates export control laws or sanctions
- Constitutes money laundering or terrorist financing
2.2 Harmful or Dangerous Content
- Contains malware, viruses, trojans, or other malicious code
- Includes hacking tools, exploits, or code designed to damage systems
- Provides instructions for creating weapons or dangerous materials
- Promotes self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
- Contains content designed to harass, intimidate, or threaten individuals
2.3 Fraudulent or Deceptive Content
- Misrepresents your identity, qualifications, or capabilities
- Contains false, misleading, or deceptive claims
- Includes fake reviews, testimonials, or endorsements
- Involves phishing, scams, or social engineering
- Impersonates other individuals, brands, or organizations
2.4 Infringing Content
- Infringes upon copyrights, trademarks, patents, or trade secrets
- Contains pirated, stolen, or counterfeit digital goods
- Violates the intellectual property rights of any third party
- Includes content you do not have the right to distribute
- Uses game assets, characters, or IP without proper authorization
2.5 Offensive Content
- Contains hate speech targeting race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
- Includes pornographic, sexually explicit, or adult content
- Contains excessive violence, gore, or graphic imagery
- Promotes discrimination, bigotry, or intolerance
- Is defamatory, libelous, or invades the privacy of others
2.6 Gaming-Specific Prohibited Content
- Game hacks, cheats, bots, or exploits
- Real-money trading (RMT) of in-game currency or items where prohibited by game terms
- Account selling or sharing in violation of game terms
- Boosting services that violate game terms of service
- Services that could result in game bans for the buyer
- Circumvention of game anti-cheat systems
- Sale of beta or confidential game content under NDA
3. Prohibited Conduct
You may not engage in the following conduct:
3.1 Fraudulent Activity
- Creating fake accounts or using multiple accounts to manipulate the platform
- Engaging in shill bidding, fake transactions, or artificial inflation of sales metrics
- Manipulating reviews, ratings, or search rankings
- Providing false information during identity verification
- Circumventing platform fees or payment processing
- Initiating chargebacks fraudulently
- Operating Ponzi schemes, pyramid schemes, or other financial fraud
3.2 Harassment and Abuse
- Harassing, bullying, intimidating, or threatening other users
- Stalking or unwanted contact after being asked to stop
- Doxxing or sharing personal information of others without consent
- Engaging in discriminatory conduct toward any user
- Using vulgar, abusive, or offensive language in communications
- Retaliating against users who report violations
3.3 Platform Manipulation
- Using bots, scrapers, or automated systems without authorization
- Attempting to access restricted areas of the platform
- Interfering with the operation of the Services
- Circumventing security measures or access controls
- Exploiting vulnerabilities or bugs (report these to support@devcatalog.com instead)
- Overwhelming our systems with excessive requests (DDoS)
3.4 Transaction Manipulation
- Conducting transactions outside the platform to avoid fees
- Soliciting or providing payment information outside secure channels
- Creating fake orders to manipulate statistics
- Collusion between buyer and seller accounts
- Purchasing your own listings or services
- Offering kickbacks for positive reviews
3.5 Spam and Solicitation
- Sending unsolicited messages or promotions
- Posting repetitive or irrelevant content
- Advertising competing platforms or services
- Harvesting user information for marketing purposes
- Mass messaging users without consent
4. Intellectual Property Compliance
4.1 Your Obligations
As a seller, you represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the necessary licenses to all content you sell
- Your listings do not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
- You have obtained all necessary permissions for any third-party content
- You comply with all applicable licensing terms
As a buyer, you agree to:
- Use purchased content only as permitted by the license granted
- Not resell, redistribute, or sublicense content without authorization
- Respect the intellectual property rights of sellers
4.2 Game Publisher Rights
Many gaming-related services involve intellectual property owned by game publishers. You must:
- Respect game publisher terms of service and content policies
- Not create content that violates game EULAs or terms
- Understand that some game-related content may require publisher permission
- Not use official game assets without proper licensing
4.3 DMCA Compliance
We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content infringes your copyright:
- Submit a DMCA notice to support@devcatalog.com
- Include all required information (see our Terms of Service)
- We will promptly investigate and take appropriate action
Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.
5. Account Security
5.1 Your Security Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account:
- Use a strong, unique password for your DevCatalog account
- Enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) when available
- Do not share your login credentials with anyone
- Log out of shared or public devices
- Report suspicious activity immediately to support@devcatalog.com
5.2 Prohibited Security Activities
You may not:
- Attempt to access another user's account
- Share accounts between multiple individuals
- Sell, transfer, or rent your account
- Use compromised credentials or data breaches to access accounts
- Attempt to bypass authentication or authorization mechanisms
5.3 Reporting Security Vulnerabilities
If you discover a security vulnerability:
- Report it responsibly to support@devcatalog.com
- Do not exploit or publicly disclose the vulnerability
- Allow us reasonable time to address the issue
- We may offer recognition for responsibly disclosed vulnerabilities
6. Seller-Specific Requirements
6.1 Accurate Listings
Sellers must:
- Provide accurate, complete, and honest descriptions
- Include clear pricing with no hidden fees
- Set realistic delivery timeframes
- Accurately represent skills, qualifications, and portfolio work
- Update listings when information becomes outdated
6.2 Professional Conduct
Sellers must:
- Respond to inquiries in a timely manner (within 24 hours recommended)
- Deliver work as described and agreed upon
- Communicate proactively about delays or issues
- Maintain professional boundaries with buyers
- Handle feedback and disputes constructively
6.3 Refund and Cancellation
Sellers must:
- Participate in good faith in the Platform's dispute resolution process
- Not hold buyer work hostage during disputes
- Comply with Platform-controlled refund and cancellation procedures
6.4 AI Tool Usage
Sellers using AI tools must:
- Clearly disclose AI-assisted or AI-generated work in listings and/or Order details
- Remain responsible for quality, originality, and licensing compliance of all deliverables
- Ensure AI use does not violate third-party rights, licenses, or confidentiality obligations
- Follow the definitions and requirements in our Terms of Service Section 10
7. Buyer-Specific Requirements
7.1 Honest Transactions
Buyers must:
- Provide accurate requirements and specifications
- Pay for services promptly as agreed
- Communicate clearly and professionally with sellers
- Review deliverables in a timely manner
7.2 Fair Reviews
Buyers must:
- Leave honest reviews based on their actual experience
- Not use reviews as extortion or leverage
- Not leave reviews for transactions that did not occur
- Update reviews if issues are resolved
8. Enforcement
8.1 Detection and Investigation
We monitor the platform for AUP violations using:
- Automated detection systems
- User reports and complaints
- Manual review by our trust and safety team
- Cooperation with law enforcement when required
8.2 Actions We May Take
Upon discovering a violation, we may, at our sole discretion:
- Issue a warning
- Remove or disable content
- Temporarily suspend your account
- Permanently terminate your account
- Withhold or reverse payments
- Report violations to law enforcement
- Pursue legal action for damages
8.3 Severity Levels

8.4 No Advance Notice
For severe and critical violations, we reserve the right to take immediate action without advance notice. We are not obligated to provide warnings before taking enforcement action.
9. Appeals Process
9.1 Right to Appeal
If your account or content has been actioned, you may appeal by:
- Submitting an appeal to support@devcatalog.com within 30 days
- Including your account information and the action taken
- Providing a clear explanation of why you believe the action was incorrect
- Submitting any supporting evidence
9.2 Appeal Review
- Appeals are reviewed by a different team member than the original decision
- We aim to respond within 5 business days
- Our decision on appeal is final
- You may only appeal each action once
9.3 Limitations on Appeals
Appeals are not available for:
- Violations involving illegal activity
- Violations involving CSAM
- Repeated severe violations
- Cases where the evidence is unambiguous
10. Reporting Violations
10.1 How to Report
If you observe a violation of this AUP:
- In-platform: Use the "Report" button on listings, messages, or profiles
- Email: Contact support@devcatalog.com
- Urgent matters: Contact support@devcatalog.com with "URGENT" in the subject line
10.2 What to Include
When reporting, please provide:
- The username or listing in question
- A description of the violation
- Screenshots or evidence if available
- The approximate date and time of the violation
- Any other relevant context
10.3 Reporter Protection
- Reports are kept confidential when possible
- Retaliation against reporters is prohibited and will result in severe penalties
- False or malicious reporting is itself a violation of this AUP
11. Changes to This Policy
11.1 Updates
We may update this AUP from time to time. When we make material changes:
- We will update the "Last Updated" date
- We will notify users via email or platform announcement
- Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
11.2 Review Recommendation
We recommend reviewing this AUP periodically to stay informed about acceptable use of our platform.
